Ricardo "Boogie Frantick" Rodriquez, Jr. is known worldwide as a master of the street dance style known as "popping." His path started in local dance battles in underground clubs in the San Fernando Valley and has taken him to some of the biggest stages in the world, including the 2010 Academy Awards, a role in the film Step Up 3D, and electrifying performances with Queen of Krump Miss Prissy’s company, The Underground, at USC and Cal State Long Beach. He has been a featured dancer on So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With the Stars, The Queen Latifah Show (with Snoop Dogg and LA artist Dam Funk), Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris, Late Night With Conan O’Brien, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and in the web series The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers (The LXD).

The Stage & Screen Fest is an important first step towards the future of Theatre Arts at LA Mission College. For the first time, the Theatre and Multimedia programs collaborated on a theatrical production that was created, rehearsed and produced from within a course-for-credit. The entire company of playwrights, actors and managers transitioned from Introduction to Acting or Introduction to Theatre courses into their work on this show.
